Information You Submit
Search forms send the name, telephone number, or address you enter to the outside provider that supplies results. We do not store a copy of those searches on our servers. A message sent to us contains only what you choose to provide, and we use it to answer you.
Information Collected Automatically
Our hosting systems create ordinary logs that can include an IP address, browser type, viewed pages, and timestamps. Aggregated data helps maintain the service and show which resources are useful. Cookies or comparable tools may support basic analytics and advertising measurement where used.
How the Information Is Used
We use this limited information to run the site, diagnose faults, measure use, and improve content. We neither sell visitor lists nor create profiles of individual readers.
Privacy on Linked Services
This site links to government portals, county and state records offices, library collections, and third-party search tools. Each of those sites has its own privacy policy, and data you submit there is governed by their rules, not ours. This is especially true of the sponsored search results on this site, which are provided by a third-party company.
Who Might See Your Data
Service providers that host and support this site process server logs on our behalf. Analytics and advertising partners may receive the automatic data described above. We will disclose data if a valid legal process requires it. We do not otherwise share visitor data.
How We Protect Your Data
The site is served over an encrypted connection. We retain server logs only as long as needed for the purposes above. Because we do not run accounts, there is no password or profile of yours to breach on this site.
Users Under 18
This site is not directed at children and is intended for users 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has submitted personal information to us, contact us and we will delete it.
Your Privacy Choices
The Maryland Online Data Privacy Act, Md. Code, Commercial Law Title 14, Subtitle 47, provides covered consumers with rights concerning qualifying personal data when its operative provisions apply. Because we retain little information, a request usually involves checking contact mail and available logs. Use the Contact page to ask. Government records held by Baltimore County or Maryland remain outside our control, so correction or restriction requests must go to the proper custodian.
Policy Revisions
Any revised policy will appear here. Using the service after a revision takes effect signifies acceptance of the updated terms.
